Bis ins 19. Jahrhundert hinein gab es keine allgemein verbindlichen Rechtschreiberegeln, sondern jeder schrieb so, wie er es persönlich für richtig hielt. Daher ist es ratsam, nicht nur im Suchfeld etwas einzugeben, sondern auch unten in der alfabetischen Namenliste ein wenig rauf und runter zu gucken. Dabei begegnen teils absonderliche, unerwartete Namensformen bzw. Schreibweisen eines Familiennamens, die man niemals gesucht hätte.
